Goading bursts of synthesizers initiate excitement while the allure of the bass baits the listener. Cleverly nonchalant, Harper's poised nebulous vocal's scintillate. The lyrics portray a more subversive sentiment, and lightly paradox the redolent romanticism of the melodious synth and dance-friendly kicks. Class Actress lies somewhere in the ambrosial ether of New Order's sullen synths and the chiding complexity Morissey's lyricism.
